Leading Iranian Actress In Hollywood

Born in Tehran, Iran, and raised in London, England, Ms. Boniadi got her start on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital. She was handpicked by Oscar® Award-winning director Mike Nichols for a part in Charlie Wilson's War, starring Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman. She followed that up by landing a part in Marvel Comics film Iron Man, directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey Jr. Ms. Boniadi has guest starred on the CW television series The Game, a spin-off of Girlfriends. She also appears in the films Gameface and Shades of Ray.
Ms. Boniadi is the great-great-granddaughter of famed 19th Century Persian philosopher and poet, Safi Ali Shah. She graduated with Honors from the University of California Irvine, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences. She is also fluent in both English and Farsi.
