Brazen litigation against Iranian leader by former Iranian deputy minister Saharkhiz

The jailed reformist journalist, Isa Saharkhiz (a former Press Deputy of Iranian Culture Ministry), has filed an unprecedented complaint against the Iranian leader to the Head of Iranian Judiciary. Saharkhiz, who was reportedly tortured or abused inside prison, holds Iranian leader directly accountable for oversight of prisons and security forces who have committed acts of torture and mistreatment of prisoners.
Iranian leader is considered the utmost authority in ruling the country and his decisions are be-all and end-all of all decisions. Complaints against Iranian leader is often severly punishable, even if it comes from close allies of the leader - as was the case of Mr. Nourizad, a former protege of Ali Khamenei who was sentenced to jail and lashes after criticizing the supreme leader.
Expecting that his brazen complaint will not be acted upon, Mr. Sahakhiz has given the Judiciary one month before he takes it to the International tribunes via Ms. Shirin Ghobadi, human rights activist and Nobel laureate Iranian lawyer.
