Iranian media censors Catherine Ashton's low cut outfit
During last weekend's failed nuclear talks in Istanbul, Catherine Ashton, European Union foreign policy chief tried hard to avoid any physical contacts with Iranian chief negotiator Saeed Jalili, but Ashton's low cut outfit was still censored by Iranian media (picture below) in doctored (edited/photoshopped) images.
"She was properly dressed," A spokesperson for Ashton told The Daily Telegraph, "It was not low-cut. Many women in Iran are in a complete veil. These were international negotiations in a third country."
Regardless of the controversy over Ms. Ashton's dress, the nuclear talks in Istanbul failed and there are no future nuclear talks scheduled with Iran.
