Football player's "immodest" hair shaved during Iranian game (picture)
Iran-related news search engine, Kodoom.com: Milad Fakhreddini, a player in Rah-ahan against Kerman Copper (mes) match in Iran's Premiere soccer league, was not allowed to enter the field by "Islamic moral authorities" due to what was deemed an immodest hair cut. He was apparently forced into the locker room and his hair was clean shaved before he was allowed to appear before fans and play in the game.
This week, a crude sexual prank (fingering) on live TV by a few professional soccer players from Iran's famed Persepolis team (video link here) prompted authorities in Islamic Republic to impose severe penalties on the players. Today a Judge in Iran's Islamic Court mentioned the players could also be jailed or flogged for the improper behavior.
