The first independent Arabic TV channel established to promote civil dialogue and democracy in Iraq, called "Democracy Channel", hosts guests who get into a heated argument over Saddam Hussein (second half of the video). Some analysts had suggested establishing similar TV stations for other middle Eastern countries such as Iran:
