Googoosh Music Academy and TV show still accepting "vocal" talent applications
"An expense-paid trip to London to be mentored by legendary Iranian Diva Googoosh, be part of a reality TV talent contest show, and a chance to win $10000" may sound too good to be true, but it is all possible if you have a good voice and an interest in singing. Thanks to a new Persian entertainment and reality TV "Manoto TV" (Manoto in Persian means You & I), and Googoosh's desire to assist the next generation of emerging vocal talents, for the first time a major Persian (singing) talent contest and show is possible now. The "Googoosh Music Academy" is now accepting applicants, but the deadline is approaching fast in August.
We had a chat with Raha Etemadi, the Creative Producer of the show (seen in picture with Googoosh). He shared with us that besides Googoosh, there are legendary Iranian composers, arranger, producers and vocal coaches who will be screening and coaching the talents. The series will start filming at the end of August in London and will be broadcast every week across Europe and the Middle East on Manoto TV in November.
