In Pictures: ISIL horsemen enter plush Tehran Mall, Hatamikia apologizes
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: On Monday night, for a few tense moments, Tehran movie lovers enjoying their ice ream and pop corn in the upscale plush Kourosh Cinemaplex were startled by ISIL horsemen wielding swords and machine guns! Shortly thereafter, an apology was issued by Ebrahim Hatamikia who masterminded the procession of ISIL lookalikes in the Cinemaplex as a commercial ploy to promote his new movie "Be Vaght Sham" (In Levant's Time) which is about ISIL's defeat in Syria with help by Iran's Special Forces.
Several Iranian independent filmmakers and critics call Hatamikia's movie "made-by-order" propaganda by the government. Even Oliver Stone who attended this year's International Fajr Film Festival in Tehran could not bring himself to praise the film.
Reformists and women protesting mandatory Hijab in Tehran often call local Guidance Police enforcing morality and mandatory Hijab as Iranian ISIL or Iranian Taliban.
