Mayhem at out of control college football game: Fake naked referee and brawl!
Jace Michael Lankow, 22, a University of Arizona senior, dressed as a referee (streaker), whistled and tried stealing the game ball, and stopped Thursday's Arizona-UCLA College Football game with :04 seconds left in the first half. Then a fight broke out between the two teams, followed by the chase of the fake referee who stripped down while running away! He later told Police he did it to up his resume for a TV show.
The criminal impersonation charge is a felony, but it can be dropped down to a misdemeanor based on the court’s review of the defendant’s history and if the crime was not a dangerous offense.
