Featuring Obama, Googoosh, Ahmadinejad! American Porn Star Releases Film in Iran's Holy City!

Iranian media have criticized the screening of a documentary about a former American porn star in cities of Mashhad (Iran's holy city), Tehran and Isfahan. The film titled "Xsunami" chronicles the story of a former American porn star discussing the degradation of human/women values in America and adult film industry, with some scenes filmed in front of Trump Tower in New York, and reference appearances by Obama, Googoosh and Ahmadinejad,
The film, directed by Mohsen Aghaei and produced by Iran's conservative Islamic Howzeh Honari, is screening in three cities without a permit from Iran's Cinema Organization. Reformists have complained that conservative Ayatollahs in Mashhad have, on numerous occasions, canceled or banned officially permitted pop music concerts or reform-minded films but allow a film by a former porn star without legal permits.
Recently, Kianush Ayyari's film Khaneh Pedari (The paternal house), became the only film in Iran's history which was banned for a third time because religious conservatives do not like the way it portrays religious violence against women (News Link).
