Andy in One World Peace Concert before Dalai Lama
Celebrity Persian pop singer Andy Madadian (known by his nickname Andy) had a busy 2012 season, performing not only for Iranians but also for world dignitaries. Last October, he sang John Lennon's "Imagine" along with Whoopi Goldberg and many other peace activists and artists in The One World Concert before Dalai Lama.
The One World Concert performed at Syracuse University on October 9, produced by World Harmony Production, was one of the largest gatherings of international artists celebrating peace, music and common ground (See Andy perform around 4:30 in the video and his wife Shani performing at 1:40):
Andy also had - as usual - an active Winter concert season, from Australia (link here) to charity events in Sacramento (for Child Foundation, link here), and Santa Clara (for Pars Equality Center, link here).
Andy also continues to produce new music. His new music video (Khodahafez, meaning Farewell in Persian) was published recently (seen below):
Andy has also performed along Asa Soltan in "Bandar" (aired in Bravo Channel's TV series, Shahs of Sunset). Asa is a Los-Angeles based Iranian-American rap artist whose style and past videos (like "Fessenjan" shown below) have received both positive and negative feedback by Iranian-Americans:
