German song Iranian style on Austrian TV (Video)

An Iranian immigrant entertained Austrian TV audiences of "Die Grosse Chance" TV program by performing a German song Iranian style (in Persian melodies)! The 33 year old Sasha Niroumand who immigrated to Austria some 10 years ago, is a hair stylist but also enjoys singing and writing.

Sasha's performance on the popular Austrian talent search show (equivalent of American Idol) prompted laughs and applause but also ridicule in the live audience. Sasha was not qualified for the next stage so he will not have a chance to win the 100,000 Euro prize, but he does plan to use his own savings to further his university education and writing aspirations.
