Golshifteh Farahani Uncensored: Recent videos, Interviews, Picture with new husband
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/events, Kodoom.com: Golshifteh Farahani, the exiled reformist feminist Iranian actress has been on the center stage of this year's Cannes festival. She showed up with her husband Christos Dorje Walker, the Australian psychotherapist and musician whom she first met in 2014 at a musical event in France.
Golshifteh who fluently speaks three languages, is the daughter of legendary theater actor, Behzad Farahani, and mother Fahimeh Rahim Nia. Her sister, Shaghayegh Farahani is currently an actress inside Iran. raised in an arts-loving family, Golshifteh learned piano and acting at an early age.
Golshifteh made her Hollywood debut in 2008 with blockbuster movie "Body of Lies."
She has been banned from returning to Iran since 2012 due to her feminist secular views and revealing or semi-nude images and films.
Golshifteh was married twice before, with Iranian film director Amin Mahdavi (2004-2011), and French actor Louis Garrel (2013-2014).
Golshifteh appeared with 200 other women in the Red Carpet ceremony for Girls of the Sun, supporting the female director and other women in the industry:
