Iranian dentist buys Anna Nicole Smith's Home
An Iranian American dentist, Rouzbeh Zoka, has bought Anna Nicole Smith's home in Studio City, California from her one-time lover, Howard K. Stern for $1.3 million, some $450,000 less than the asking price, AOL Real Estate reports.
Larry Birkhead, the biological father of Smith's daughter, Danielynn, moved into the house after Smith's untimely death in 2007 and had been living in the home with Danielynn. In April 2011, Stern got a court order to transfer the home under his name, and he put the home on the market. The proceeds of the home, however, go to Danielynn, since she's the beneficiary of Smith's estate.
Vickie Lynn Hogan, known by her moniker Anna Nicole Smith, was an American model, actress, television personality, and Playboy's 1993 Playmate of the Year. Smith dropped out of high school and was married when she was 17. While performing at a Houston strip club in Texas, Smith met elderly oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall (63 years older than her!) and married him later after divorcing her first husband. This was widely believed as a gold-digging marriage by Anna Nicole. Thirteen months after the marriage, Marshall died at age 90, and following his death, Smith began a lengthy legal battle over a share of his estate.
Within the final six months of her life, Smith was the focus of a renewed press coverage surrounding the death of her son, Daniel, and the paternity and custody battle over her newborn daughter, Dannielynn. Four men, including Howard Stern, claimed they could be the father of her daughter because they all had sexual relationships with her.
Smith died in 2007 at age 39 after an accidental drug overdose in Florida. It was reported that 8 of the 11 drugs in Smith's system, were prescribed to Howard Stern but he was later cleared of a drug conspiracy conviction and other charges in Smith's death.
Dr. Rouzbeh Zoka's new home at 3646 Avenida del Sol is where the former Playboy Playmate's reality television series "The Anna Nicole Show" was filmed a decade ago. The Mediterranean-style two-story home features wrap-around balconies with a generous pool deck that overlooks the city lights of Studio City. The 4,700-square-foot home's interior has a dramatic entryway that showcases a giant painting of the late model. There's five bedrooms and 5.5 baths, wood and marble floors throughout, a living room with dual fireplaces and an open area on the bottom level for a gym.
