Janet Jackson's Evolution to Motherhood and IsIam (Pictures)
Janet Jackson, once known for socially conscious, sexually provocative records and images - like those of her dress malfunction in Superbowl 2004 half-time performance with Justin Timberlake (shown below), or on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine - seems to have evolved into a modest family woman, seen lately in a modest cover (perhaps Islamic Hijab) with her husband Wissam Al Mana, Billionaire Muslim fashion tycoon from Qatar. Janet Jackson is the second member of the Jackson family who has converted to Islam after Jermaine Jackson.
The 50-year-old singer recently confirmed her pregnancy and showed off her growing baby bump. In April, Jackson announced she was postponing her Unbreakable World Tour to focus on planning a family with her husband.
Having sold over 100 million records, Jackson is ranked as one of the best-selling artists in the history of contemporary music.
