Sultry Lebanese Actress Speaks Persian, Covers Up on Iranian TV But Also Speaks Against Bigotry
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: The often sensual Lebanese Christian actress Ann Marie Salama is now seen in Hijab (Islamic head and body cover) speaking Persian on a Persian TV series (Havali Payiz, or Around Autumn) screened on Iran's state run TV.

Unlike Muslim women, Christians are not required to cover their hair if filmed outside Iran but for films and series produced inside Iran, even Christians need to cover their hair.
The actress says she had to learn to speak Persian in Saudi Arabian accent as required in the series
Anne Marie Salama, however, implicitly criticizes strict intolerant laws: "I am a Christian but against any religious bigotry. We believe in tolerance and freedom of religions as practiced in Lebanon."
