Rushid was raised in an artistic and musical Iranian family. He has been performing for 24 years (10 years in Canada and 14 years in Northern California). Rushid has released two albums: one in 2000 named Hamnafas (Companion) and a second album named Zang-e Seda in 2005 with Pars Video U.S.A. His new album is planned for release later this year.
Rushid has college degrees in computer engineering (Toronto) and multimedia (San Jose). He is also perhaps the only Persian singer that has a 4th Don Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and teaches martial arts in the Bay area.
He is performing live soon in the Club Oasis in Treasure Island (event link).
