This Friday, Fans to Join Andy in Hollywood for Dedication of a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

For the first time ever, an Iranian American is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that Iranian-Armenian-American pop music star Andy Madadian will be honored with the 2,684th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:30 a.m (event link).Helping Emcee Rana Ghadban, President & CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to unveil the star will be Walk of Famer will be La Toya Jackson and Miles Copeland.
The star will be dedicated in the category of Recording at 6810 Hollywood Boulevard across the street from the Hollywood & Highland Complex, home of The Dolby Theatre. Thousands of Andy's fans in Southern California are expected to attend this ceremony. Those unable to attend and fans around the world can watch the event exclusively on www.walkoffame.com.
In his official statement, Andy shares with his fans: "For me, this is the American dream come true! I thank the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for this once in a lifetime gift and honor and I will cherish it forever. The City of Hollywood has once again embraced diversity, and in 2020 an Iranian-Armenian-American is receiving a star for the first time. For over 40 years, Hollywood has been the heart of my entertainment world. I have recorded 14 albums at Rusk Studios in Hollywood and I have performed multiple times at the Kodak/ Dolby theatre. I have lived in Hollywood for years and now I am lucky enough to call it my forever home. The honorable members and administration of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce are kindly cooperating to make the day one of the largest celebrations ever in Hollywood and to broadcast it globally. Following the star ceremony on Hollywood Blvd, there will be an exclusive Reception held at the prestigious Hollywood Museum located on the iconic corner of Hollywood and Highland. The Reception will host VIP guests, celebrities and media, and I would also like to include my friends, supporters and colleagues."
