Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Among Iranian American comedians, Maz Jobrani and K-von seem to enjoy a wide appeal among not only Iranians but also Americans and other immigrant populations. Earlier this year Maz Jobrani was seen as a judge on CBS' MVP (Most Valuable Performer) special showcasing six American NFL players to see who had the best off the field talent like opera singing, Irish dancing, and dog tricks.
Maz is also a regular panelist on NPR’s WAIT WAIT DON'T TELL ME radio show and was recently starring in the CBS TV sitcom SUPERIOR DONUTS.

Maz was the host for this year's ethnic comedy show at Just for Laughs Comedy festival in Montreal, Canada. He has performed on network comedy specials on NETFLIX and SHOWTIME. In the Spring of 2016 he performed at the White House where he had the privilege of introducing Michelle Obama. He was a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central in 2007.
Maz starred as the title character in the award-winning indie comedy, JIMMY VESTVOOD: AMERIKAN HERO, a film which he co-wrote and co-produced. He has co-starred in many films including Disney’s, THE DESCENDANTS, Sydney Pollack’s THE INTERPRETER and Ice Cube’s FRIDAY AFTER NEXT. With over 50 guest star appearances, Maz can regularly be seen on television’s most popular shows. Guest stars include GREY’S ANATOMY, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, TRUE BLOOD, and SHAMELESS.
