What is Up with Britney Spears, Iranian American Boyfriend, and FREE BRITNEY Controversy

She was once called the hottest woman in America but nowadays she seems aged and under a lot of stress. Last month a disheveled-looking, once-legendary pop music star Britney Spears, was seen celebrating Easter in the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills, California, with Iranian American boyfriend Sam Asghari. Spears looked somewhat disoriented and wore a floral off-the-shoulder dress and sandals. This was outside of the health facility she had checked herself into in January after she announced that she would be taking an indefinite work hiatus, postponing her album and putting her new show at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas on hold until further notice.
But the recent absence of Spears from her scheduled shows has stirred some rumors among her fans. While performing in Memphis Saturday night, Miley Cyrus shouted "Free Britney!" to the crowd, seemingly alluding to the hashtag that sprung up among Britney Spears fans worried about the singer's well-being. The theory that Spears is being imprisoned or held against her will, potentially by her team, has been circulating for months and picked up steam in January, when Spears announced she was postponing her Domination Las Vegas residency and her album release to help her father, Jamie Spears recover from a life-threatening ruptured colon.
But who is Spears Iranian American boyfriend/bodyguard? According to Hype, Sam Asghari moved to the United States just 11 years ago from Iran. He currently resides in California, where Spears also lives. Sam Asghari played football in Westlake High School and is now a model, actor and personal trainer. At one point he wanted to become a police officer but realized he was more passionate about fitness modeling and acting.
Two years ago a reality TV actress and model posted a photo of kissing Asghari and claimed he was cheating with her on Spears (link and picture).
