Whitney Houston's most popular hits
Two of Houston's most popular videos: "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" and "I Will Always Love You" (one with subtitles)
On February 11, 2012, Whitney Houston was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, apparently of drug or alcohol overdose. Houston is the only artist to chart seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits, the second artist behind Elton John and the only female artist to have two number-one Billboard 200 Album awards (formerly "Top Pop Album") on the Billboard magazine year-end charts. She has been called the "Queen of Pop" for her influence during the 1990s, commercially rivaling Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. In August 2001, Houston signed the biggest record deal in music history with Arista/BMG. She renewed her contract for $100 million to deliver six new albums.
