Iranian American Surgeon Harassed After Warning About Immunological Danger of COVID Vaccines for Some People

Dr. Hooman Noorchashm, a prominent Iranian American surgeon has come under attack online by pro-vacciners and even harassed by an unnamed twitter account, after a science-based article was published about his letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Pfizer and the press to warn of an “almost certain immunological prognostication that if viral antigens are present in the tissues of subjects who undergo vaccination, the antigen specific immune response triggered by the vaccine will target those tissues and cause tissue inflammation and damage.”
Noorchashm, M.D., Ph.D., is a distinguished Iranian American physician-scientist and advocate for ethics, patient safety and women’s health. He specializes in cardiothoracic surgery and has taught and practiced medicine for nearly two decades.
In fact, Noorchashm is not the only one warning about the potential risks. in December, Patrick Whelan, another distinguished M.D., Ph.D., sent similar concerns to the FDA: "I am concerned about the possibility that the new vaccines aimed at creating immunity against the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein (including the mRNA vaccines of Moderna and Pfizer) have the potential to cause microvascular injury to the brain, heart, liver, and kidneys in a way that does not currently appear to be assessed in safety trials of these potential drugs."
In his warning letter, Noorchashm emphasizes:
"Therefore, it is my respectful request that FDA, in collaboration with Pfizer and Moderna, immediately and at the very minimum, institute clear recommendations to clinicians that they delay immunization in any recently convalescent patients, as well as, any known symptomatic or asymptomatic carriers — and to actively screen as many patients with high cardiovascular risk as is reasonably possible, in order to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2, prior to vaccinating them.
A potential reasonable solution, especially in the nursing home setting, would be to use antibody screening as a surrogate means of excluding/delaying vaccination in persons who might have been exposed to the virus and have viral antigens lingering in their tissues... Additionally, if the immunological risk I am prognosticating herein is in reality material, over the next months as millions more Americans are immunized, it will become quite visible to the public. Can you imagine if the public, without having received any real warning from FDA, becomes aware of an increasing number of such vascular/thromboembolic complications?"
Noorchashm's predictions may be already validated. As of January 22, data analysis by National Vaccine Information Center using Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database indicates at least 329 deaths and 1234 serious adverse events reported by people who have received the vaccines in the U.S. (as of January 22, 2021). Although many of these cases may be unrelated to the specific pathogenesis brought up by Noorchashm, some cases seem directly related. Here are some notes from the database:
"A 51 year old male from New York: Acute myocardial infarction. SMQ: Embolic and thrombotic events, arterial ... A 37 year old female from Illinois: Patient developed headache and nausea on 1-11-2021. She was hospitalized on 1-14-2021 at Hospital. Found to have dural sinus thrombosis of the superior sagittal and right transverse/sigmoid sinus on MRV brain. Currently admitted to ICU at Hospital .... A 78 year old male in Nebraska; Injection given on 12/28/20 - no adverse events and no issues yesterday; Death today, 12/30/20, approx.. 2am today (unknown if related - Administrator marked as natural causes)... A 63 year old in Illinois: Death by massive heart attack. Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine EUA.... "
