Dr. Devra Davis: The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry has done to Hide it
Since the invention of radar, cell phone radiation was assumed to be harmless because it wasn't like X-rays. But as explained by Dr. Devra Davis, a sea change is now occurring in the way scientists think about it. The latest research ties this kind of radiation to lowered sperm counts, an increased risk of Alzheimer's, and even cancer. Dr. Devra Davis, is an award winning scientist who held bipartisan presidential appointments and is an author of three popular books, one of which was a finalist for the National Book Award.
Dr. Devra Davis was the founding director of the Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology of the U.S. National Research Council, National Academy of Sciences and the only woman to serve as Scholar in Residence, 1983-1993. Among the NAS reports she directed were those advising that tobacco smoke be removed from airplanes and the environments of young children.
