Iran's space monkey and nuclear programs linked: Israeli source
According to Iranian news source Tabnak, Iran's plans to send monkeys to space next month is linked by an Israeli source (Debka) to Iran's nuclear program. The source claims Iran's August 2011 space mission was a failure resulting in loss of the passenger monkey's life in space, but the real intent behind next month's project is to test ability of Iran's new ballistic missiles in carrying weaponized payloads as heavy as 700 lbs.
