Persian language now part of curriculum in Hamburg schools and University in Madrid
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: For the first time in history of German schools, Persian language (Farsi or Parsi) is now part of official curriculum in high schools in the City of Hamburg.
According to Saadi foundation, Maryam Ghorbanian, a 20-year veteran of teaching Persian language in Hamburg is confirming that Persian language, in addition to Arabic and Italian are now part of elective curriculum in German high schools.
Separately, for the first time, Nebrija University in Madrid, Spain, is now offering Persian language and cultural courses at the Khayyam Center for Iranian and Persian Studies with support by The Allameh Tabataba'i University in Iran. The Nebrija University will soon open a center in Iran for the study of Spanish.
