Prominent Iranian American Doctor Closely Watching a Supreme Court Case

Dr. Azadeh Khatibi, whose first name means “freedom,” was born in Iran and immigrated to the U.S. when she was six. She has since embodied the spirit of her name and her American dream, completing a rigorous joint medical degree program at the Universities of California San Francisco and Berkeley and launching a career as an ophthalmology specialist in Los Angeles. Dr. Khatibi never imagined that she would escape the censorship in one country only to face a different type of oppression and censorship in America. So she is now supporting other prominent doctors who are taking the Biden Administration all the way to the US Supreme Court for censoring the voice of independent scientists and doctors.

Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard Murthy (representing the Biden Administration) vs. the State of Missouri and the issue of government censorship of Dr. Jayanta Bhattacharya, Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, Dr. Martin Kulldorff and thousands of prominent doctors (like Dr. Khatibi) and scientists who were censored (de-platformed) on social media and even lost their licenses and jobs for sharing their independent scientific views about the pandemic, vaccines, lockdowns and much more. The states (including Missouri) argue that White House communications staffers (of the Biden Administration), the surgeon general (Mr. Murthy), the FBI and the U.S. cybersecurity agency "coerced" changes in online content on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and other media platforms to quash, silence and censor independent scientists and doctors who shared concerns about the safety and efficacy of the mRNA vaccines, mandates, and lockdowns, or origins of COVID.

The Supreme Court heard oral argument in the New Civil Liberties Alliance’s (NCLA) considering whether to uphold a historic preliminary injunction granted by a lower Court that would bar officials from the White House, CDC, FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and Surgeon General’s office from coercing or significantly encouraging social media platforms to censor constitutionally protected speech. That decision vindicated NCLA’s clients, who have been blacklisted, shadow-banned, de-boosted, throttled, and suspended on social media as part of a years-long censorship campaign orchestrated by the White House, CDC, FBI, CISA, and Surgeon General in a “whole of government” effort.

In September 2023, Dr. Khatibi testified in front of the Congressional Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in Washington, DC on how the federal government's (including the President, CDC, NIH, FDA) irresponsible actions, including collusion and pressuring to censor and quash Americans' speech - including professional dissenting voices on platforms like twitter, and a promotion of a toxic culture of misinformation policing and "othering" had terrible downstream effects, including creation of the horrific, unconstitutional & unethical California AB2098 physician censorship law.

Earlier, under litigation pressure by Dr. Khatibi and NCLA, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill to repeal the California Assembly Bill (AB) 2098, which violated Medical Board of California-certified physicians’ First Amendment rights to free speech and their Fourteenth Amendment rights to due process of law. It interfered with the ability of doctors and their patients to freely communicate, serving as a weapon to intimidate and punish doctors who dissented from mainstream views. Physicians and individuals on social media threatened several of NCLA’s clients with using AB 2098 to take their licenses away, corroborating evidence that the law’s insidious intent was always to silence doctors who depart from state orthodoxy and official narratives on Covid-19, vaccines and vilified treatments like Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine. Drs. Tracy Høeg, Ram Duriseti, Aaron Kheriaty, Pete Mazolewski and Azadeh Khatibi were the courageous doctors who challenged the vague and censorious statute.

But Khatibi is not the only Iranian-American doctor questioning the COVID protocols, Pandemic lockdowns, vaccine safety, and government's collusion with the Big Pharma and social media. Prominent Iranian American MD/PHDs such as Houman David Hemmati, and Hooman Noorchashm have been critical of the vaccine mandates and government's response to the COVID pandemic.

Millions of vaccine critics such as Dr. McCullough, Attorney Aaron Siri, Robert Kennedy Jr. (now an Independent Presidential candidate), Hollywood actors and actresses, and Iranian American Dr. Ramin Oskoui (seen in video) have been banned from discussing their evidence on Youtube and Facebook but allowed speaking on Twitter after Elon Musk took ownership.

In response to concerns shared by outspoken doctors like Dr. Khatibi, The US Congress held a second hearing to assess America’s Vaccine Safety Systems, which is inadequate in accurately tracking vaccine injuries.
