The following are shocking coronavirus claims and news documented in independent media but rarely seen in large mass media:

Shocking Claims:

Professor Luc Montagnier, 2008 Nobel Prize winner for Medicine, claims that SARS-CoV-2 is a manipulated virus that was accidentally released from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. Chinese researchers are said to have used coronaviruses in their work to develop an AIDS vaccine. HIV DNA fragments are believed to have been found in the SARS-CoV-2 genome. Other scientific articles, however, such as one in European Scientist refute this hypothesis: "The genetic sequence of SARS-CoV-2 that encodes its lipidic envelope, while it looks a bit like that of HIV-1, is also part of many other viruses.. such as Human Coronavirus 229E (which gives the common cold) or in the Human Coronavirus OC43 (also a variant of the common cold). This is interesting because both viruses were discovered well before the HIV."

Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps claims invention of Mostaan 110, the world's first ever remote virus detector. Iran's Health Ministry has indicated it has not certified the machine. Iran's Physics Society calls the remote virus detector a "science fiction" discovery.

Tara Behbahani, an Iranian artist drew a painting closely resembling coronavirus in China 8 years ago! She had called it "The Dark Reality of Human Future!"

Surprising Updates:

An estimated 16% of New Yorkers may be infected with coronavirus already. 33 out of the 200 randomly tested women in New York had coronavirus, an incidence rate much higher than official test numbers. Some 16% of pregnant women without symptoms tested positive for coronavirus, according to a study by New York-Presbyterian and Columbia University Medical Center which screened more than 200 women for the illness upon admission between March 22 and April 4.

In Italy, where the coronavirus death toll is second only to the US, a small observational study of 88 patients shows that 20.4% of them developed some form of skin condition speculated to be related to COVID-19. There is a possibility that a COVID-19 patient might initially present with a skin rash that can be misdiagnosed as another common disease. It has also been noticed that a cycle of blood clotting and inflammation may contribute to strokes, heart attacks or breathing difficulties of some COVID-19 patients.

The Small-Business Aid Program set in the US to help small businesses ran out of more than $350 billion of appropriations while many really small businesses have not received any assistance. Critics believe the stimulus plan approved by the US Congress and President Trump will mostly protect banks from liquidity crisis. Reports indicate large well connected businesses like Potbelly’s and Ruth’s Chris secured $10-$20 million loans while smaller mom-and-pop restaurants are screwed and waiting for $1000-$10,000 advances or loans. Reports also indicate Some 43,000 US millionaires will get Trump's "stimulus" assistance averaging $1.6 million each!
