Why Did Trump's Daughter Quote Mystic Persian Poet?
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Tiffany Trump, the president's youngest, quietest daughter, posted a quote from Persian mystic poet, Rumi (Molavi), on her Instagram story for her 1 million followers. In the context of the latest scandal from her father's White House administration, it comes off as a dig at her detractors – and among those are the president himself, his personal assistant Madeleine Westerhout told reporters, although Trump denies it.
Madeleine Westerhout has told to reporters at an off-the-record dinner about Trump not wanting to take pictures with Tiffany, 25, because he perceives her as being overweight.
Trump's 25-year-old appears to have responded to the drama in a hidden message, perhaps to Trump or Westerhout by posting a quote from Rumi, the ancient Persian mystic poet, to her Instagram: “Study me as much as you like, you will never know me,” it read. “For I differ a hundred ways from what you see me to be … I have chosen to dwell in a place you can’t see.”
