Iranian-French Bahar Choir Orchestra to Perform Voice of Peace in London and Paris

Founded in Paris in 2010 within the cultural association BAHAR (association for the purpose of organizing intercultural exchanges between young people from different backgrounds), the Paris-Est Philharmonic Orchestra is not only dedicated to classical music but also to world music, especially Persian music. The Bahar Choir in Paris is composed of 70 amateur or semi-professional male and female singers, mostly Iranian, whilst the East-Paris Philharmonic Orchestra’s musicians are predominantly French, many graduates of the "Conservatoire International de Musique."
The choir and orchestra will once again come together in London (event and ticketing link) and Paris (event and ticketing link) to perform and promulgate the Iranian music, poetry and culture through the performance of well-known Iranian music and contemporary pieces. The Voice of Peace concerts are composed by Arash Fouladvand, the lead musical composer, conductor and overall founder of the project and Bahar Choir.
Bahar's 2018 performance included Majid Derakhshani, Shahou Andalibi and Suzie Ziai (link).
Fouladvand holds a PhD from the Institute of French Petroleum and a degree in Harmony and Orchestration. He is the youngest conductor who has ever worked with UNESCO.
