Farzaneh Sharafbafi, the first ever woman to lead Iran's National Airline
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Although President Rohani has refused to appoint any women Ministers to his new cabinet, the appointment of Farzaneh Sharafbafi to lead Iran's National Airline, HOMA, as the first ever woman to lead the large airline, has been received positively by Iranian women who had a crucial role in re-electing president Rohani.
The 44 year old Sharafbafi has a PhD with Honors from prestigious Sharif University of Technology in Aerospace Engineering and several years of management and technical experience in Iran's airline industry.
