- Protests spread across Iran. IRGC and irregulars (Basij) ordered to directly fire on angry protesters. At least 80 protesters killed in clashes. Protesters in Tehran and Isfahan fight back, setting fires to IRGC vehicles and government symbols. Supreme Leader Khamenei labels protesters as "thugs" and vows to crush them despite Trump's support pledge. Massive protests in his hometown of Mashhad, people chanting against his tyranny. Banks limiting cash transactions. Schools closed. Many flights canceled. Forced confessions shown on Iran TV. Iranian TV: Basij (IRGC irregulars) center and mosque set on fire in Saadat Abad. Basij and police forces killed in clashes in Rasht and Mashhad. Tasnim: At least 19 riot police, Basij injured/killed in Dogonbadan and Yasuj. Gunfights in cities like Kermanshah and Marvdasht. Son of Senior IRGC Qods commander killed in clashes in Mashhad. Hundreds of protesters now killed/injured, as per videos from hospitals in Mashhad and Tehran (Alghadir). Mehdi Zatparvar, champion Iranian body builder shot and killed, while protesting. His last words on Instagram: Today, I take to the streets for my rights. I have no fear.

- Jalili, Leader's National Security Deputy, on Iranian TV: "Trump prevents us from fixing our (economic) weaknesses. Trump and Israel use violence against reform-minded Iranians on the streets!"
- All modes of communication down in Iran. As Iran TV repeats "Cities are calm," Internet shut down continues, imposing heavy losses on the already crippled economy. Government even shutting down coffee shops and stores that hand out "Call to Rally" flyers by protesters.
- Trump: US ‘ready to help’ Iranians. More airlines suspend flights to Iran airports. Heavy US military airlift to Persian Gulf area. British MP Tom Tugendhat: Surge in visa applications to Europe by regime officials.
- Thousands of expatriate Iranians across the world stage solidarity rallies with Iranian protesters.
