Reformist website reveals secret life of Iranian leader: Financial corruption and expensive taste
Mohsen Makhmalbaf, a well known International film director, Iranian "green movement" reformist and a former Iranian revolutionary, has published "secrets of Khamenei's Life" on his website, based on what he claims are documents provided by former staff at Ayatollah Khamenei's Residence and Iranian Intelligence Officers who have defected.
The groundbreaking report has details on Khamenei's expensive taste in Caviar and wild trout and fine collectables including bejewelled pipes, fine horses and antique walking sticks. Information provided by former Iranian intelligence officials, who have fled Iran, allegedly documents Khamenei family's wide-reaching business connections, including interests in European, Russian and Venezuelan businesses, African mobile phone companies, Sales of Iranian Oil, and import of weapons to Iran. The exhaustive reports claims Khamenei suffers from chronic depression which is treated in part by audiences with a mullah who tells vulgar jokes and by engaging in poetry and traveling to resort areas of Iran.
Mojtaba Khamenei, the leader's second son, and Hossein Taeb (pictured), a brutal clergy responsible for Khamenei's personal surveillance operations, are said to play a prominent role in organizing the Basij paramilitary groups to crush dissent and to utilize violence against reformists and street protesters.
