Trump Insults Immigrants to the US, Compares them to Trash
In unprecedented remarks, U.S. President Donald Trump who is trying to stop immigration by family ties to US citizens and green card holders, and diversity visa lottery program, has just compared legal immigrants on diversity visas to trash!
Contrary to established figures about the significant contribution of immigrants to the US economy, Trump calls foreign nationals immigrating to the US as "The Worst of the Worse!" He has also tried to seriously restrict the H-1B program to attract foreign professionals. According to Bloomberg, employers have begun noticing that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services was challenging an unusually large number of H-1B applications.
Trump is trying to stop what he calls "Chain Migration" of immigrant families. Current US immigration laws allow legal US Citizens to apply for their spouse, parents or young children to immigrate to the US. The law has been credited for bolstering family values and a faster integration of immigrants into the US society, unlike in Europe.
