Color maps show Obama votes correlate with education and history of slavery
Following Obama's re-election on Tuesday, the following maps of American states were circulated on the internet as proof that "generally" anti-Obama states had a history of pro-slavery stance (before the civil war) and currently have below-average rates of college graduates.
Detailed voter analysis also indicates that 92% of blacks, 73% of Asian-Americans, 71% of hispanics, 65% of Iranian Americans, 56% of voters under 44 years of age, and 56% of women voted for Obama. No wonder some bloggers called this year's election a civil "revolt" against old white men's! Republican party.
Interestingly, some other statistical US maps such as those showing population of "teenage mothers" also correlate with Romney votes (see below - bluish and grayish states with high rates of birth among teen girls ages 15 to 19, are mostly those which voted for Romney and Republicans).
