Iran's Press TV suspends News Chief after sexual harassment claims (Explicit Tape Included)
After taped conversations between a former female anchor Sheena Shirani and News Chief Hamid Reza Emadi were leaked, Iran's state-run English News Agency, Press TV, has suspended Mr. Emadi. In a video interview (below), Ms. Shirani, a single mother who now lives outside Iran claims at Press TV she was warned about her make up and inadequate Hijab (Islamic cover) but offered protection by Emadi while subjecting her to sexual harassment. She blames the widespread sexual objectification of women in Iran on fanatical gender segregation and medieval dress rules imposed by conservative clerics. Emadi who is married denies the allegations.
