Sanders at odds with Hillary's pro-Netanyahu, Anti-Iran stance
If the "revolution" advocated by Bernie Sanders, the Independent Senator from Vermont and winner of New Hampshire's Democratic primary, succeeds, it will undermine the political clout not only of the Billionaire Class and Mega corporations but also of AIPAC, the powerful right wing pro-Netanyahu Jewish-American lobbying group. During last week's Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton clashed with Sanders over his support for normalization of relations with Iran and his criticism of Saudi Arabia. In 2008, Clinton also clashed with then-candidate Obama, over his support for dialogue with Iran. Clinton was defeated in 2008.
Under attack from pro-AIPAC, pro-Clinton surrogates, Bernie Sanders (himself of Jewish faith), confirmed in a recent interview with MSNBC's Meet The Press, that he seeks foreign policy advice not from AIPAC, but from more moderate, pro-peace groups like J Street (a liberal pro-peace Jewish-American lobby), Arab American Institute, and Center for American Progress (video shown below).
