Video: Ahmadinejad Predicts Messiah in Christmas Message in Broken English

Iran's former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has posted a video (in hard-to-understand broken English) wishing a happy new year to Christians, foreshadowing Messiah, Jesus together with Imam Mahdi, will emerge to fight oppression.
After Ahmadinejad, who followed socialist populist policies, fell out of favor with Iran's Supreme leader, a few of his close allies, including Vice Presidents, were imprisoned.
Ahmadinejad who remains free but under watch uses social media to share double-meaning messages of "resistance against oppression."
For example, in 2019, on the anniversary of Michael Jackson's birth, Ahmadinejad shocked media observers by quoting one of Jackson's songs in a mystic tweet: "I'm starting with the man in the mirror, I'm asking him to change his way!"
Observers and analysts believe Ahmadinejad is using Twitter to remain politically relevant. His provocative tweets seem to be indirect political jabs at his opponents including allies of Iranian Leader.
Ahmadinejad’s political downfall began in 2011 when he refused to support Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s reinstatement of the country’s intelligence chief. The former mayor of Tehran, who was once referred to as the protege of Khamenei, found himself enmeshed in a power struggle with the supreme leader and his conservative clerical allies until he left office in 2013. Since then, several of Ahmadinejad's Vice Presidents and close allies have been imprisoned on corruption charges.
