Will Iranian Americans Vote for Robert F. Kennedy?
A few months ago, independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. discussed his controversial views about Iran. Kennedy is now gaining traction in various Presidential polls, which is why both Trump and Biden were happy to block him from the recent CNN debate.
Kennedy has a track record of legal action against companies that contaminate rivers and against manufacturers of toxic and cancer-causing chemicals. He seems to be attracting both Democrat and Republican voters who are fed up with the system. Surveys show that the majority of American voters are dissatisfied with both Biden and Trump. New poll from Forbes/HarrisX shows 38% support for RFK Jr. among undecided voters, with 19% support overall despite Kennedy being blacklisted on most TV stations, major news outlets, and all Republican and Democrat channels.
Mainstream news outlets which are commercially sponsored by oil, chemical and pharmaceutical companies denigrate Kennedy because of his stance on chemical pollution, safety of vaccines and the waiver of liability for vaccine manufacturers (Vaccine Act of 1986). Meta even took down the Facebook page and Instagram account for Children’s Health Defense, an organization headed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr, because they have labeled Kennedy as Anti-vaccine, which is a gross mischaracterization of his legal and safety views.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is now polling as high as 20% in some national presidential surveys will be on the ballots across the country. This could potentially spoil establishment candidates' bids for the White House. Kennedy is starting to look like a real contender backed by famous folks like Edward Snowden, Elon Musk, Woody Harrelson, Ice Cube, Rob Schneider, Jack Dorsey, Eric Clapton, Glenn Greenwald, Pierce Brosnan, Tulsi Gabbard, Eric Clapton.
He shared some eye-opening facts in his lengthy interview with Joe Rogan last year which was viewed by millions of people both on Spotify and now Youtube:
Kennedy is an avid and sincere environmentalist. Recently he shared an interesting video of him on Twitter rescuing a snake.
Kennedy comes from a prominent political family, with his uncle being John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, and his father, Robert F. Kennedy, serving as the Attorney General. Tragically, both JFK and RFK Sr. lost their lives to assassins—JFK in 1963 and RFK Sr. during his 1968 Presidential campaign.
Kennedy who is now running for President of the USA in the 2024 election, promises to heal the divide between the country's political ideologies and end the chronic disease epidemic: "America’s catastrophic health is bankrupting our country. In JFK’s era the U.S. spent 4% of GDP on healthcare. Today it is 17%. That is $4.3 trillion, dwarfing the total federal defense and security budget of $1.3 trillion. Approximately 90% of U.S. healthcare costs are for people with chronic and mental health conditions... Politicians in both parties, including Presidents Trump and Biden, have allowed America’s health to deteriorate. They debate about who will bear healthcare costs, which is like rearranging chairs on the Titanic. But no one dares to investigate the root causes of the chronic disease epidemic. There’s no money in it. As Americans get sicker, corporate political donors — Big Pharma and Wall Street firms that control much of the medical industry — get richer."
Kennedy is a graduate of Harvard University. He studied at the London School of Economics and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. Following graduation, he attended Pace University School of Law, which awarded him a master’s degree in environmental law. He served on the Pace Law School faculty from 1986 to 2018 and cofounded and supervised Pace’s Environmental Litigation Clinic.
