The Head of Education Department in the southern district of Kazeroon in Iran announced today that wearing black chadors (full body covers and overall veils) is now mandatory as the new uniform in all girl's Middle and High schools in this District.
Iranian schools encourage girls to fully cover their bodies and, and at the same time, consider early marriage. Recently some school districts in Iran have added "Islamic husband search" to their pre-university curricula. Despite these efforts, promiscuity is rampant and divorce rates are at an all-time high, particularly in urban areas.
