In Pictures: Tehran's Old Trade Center Tower Collapses Following Inferno

Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Tehran's 54-year-old Trade Center tower, the Plasco Building, burned and collapsed this morning in what eerily resembled scenes from the collapse of New York's World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

At least 75 people are feared dead including some 45 firefighters.

Tehran's central Bazar distrist and nearby British and Turkish embassies were locked down.

Initial reports blamed the fire on an electrical spark but some sources such as Mashregh point out to explosions as the cause of the collapse.
