In Pictures: The Crisis of Armed Gangs and Thugs in Iran

In addition to paralyzing economic sanctions imposed by Donald Trump, and external military threats by Saudi Arabia, Israel and armed groups such as ISIS, Iran is now domestically facing a new crisis with armed gangs and thugs brazenly engaging in violent activities such as mafia-style assassinations, gun battles with Police, kidnapping and heists (of gold stores or wealthy homes), and contrabanding drug and alcohol even in broad daylight.
These images were released by Police in Tehran demonstrating Thugs rounded up in large groups with interesting shirts, weapons and bootlegged (contraband) alcohol:
