Society and Entertainment Pictorial News Blog
Kodoom.com, Independent Iran-related News Aggregator: Iranian news agencies have published images of visitors, including an elegantly dressed little girl, enjoying the pink-colored Maharloo lake, some 25 kilometers to the southwest of Shiraz (Iran's garden city) in Fars province.
Red-colored salt lake algae contribute to the pinkish-red color of the lake, particularly during drought and high lake salinity (salt levels).
