Every year, on the occasion of Spring (vernal) equinox, Iranians celebrate their new year (called Nowruz) by visiting family members and nature for the next 13 days. They also shop for fruits, nuts, clothing items, handcrafted art, flowers and plants in Nowruz Bazaars across the country as shown in these pictures.
