Tehran's night ski resort shut down after opening party (Pictures)
On weekends, the ski area in northern Tehran outskirt of Shemshak is a popular spot with mostly wealthy boys and girls who mingle freely, and use the snow excuse to wear more colorful, fashionable and westernized gear, than tolerated on the streets of Tehran by the Guidance and Morality Police.

But the recent opening ceremony of the Night Ski Resort in Shemshak resulted in the immediate closure of the resort and arrest of four organizers for what is cited as "immodest and anti-cultural" behavior during the opening reception party. The term often refers to mixed gender dance parties and perhaps secret use of alcohol. Images are from the opening night party before the resort was shut down:
