Iran wins first ever women's snooker medal in Asian Billiards
Independent Search Engine for Iran-related News and Events, Kodoom.com: At the first edition of Asian Billiard Sports Championship in the United Arab Emirates, Iran's female cueist Akram Mohammadi Amini has won a historic bronze medal in the Single Women 9-Ball Pool Games of the continental sporting event in Fujairah. Mohammadi brought an end to Iran's long wait to clinch a medal in the women’s division of Asian championships.
Iranian male cueists also won two medals in the Championship, including one gold.
