Despite Hijab, Iranian Woman Breaks Guinness World Record in Handcuffed Swimming

During the production of "Swimmer" (Shenagar in Persian, a documentary film) Elham Sadat Asghari was able to break a new Guinness World Record in swimming with one arm tied.
Asghari Was deprived of a National Record seven years ago during the Ahmadinejad presidency when the Ministry of Sports did not recognize her accomplishment to penalize her for improper hijab and Un-Islamic swimsuit. At the time Asghari sent a video message to all her social media fans and said she will never surrender to bullying and force.
Asghari's most recent record this year is for swimming 10 kilometers with one hand tied in Gulf of Oman under 4 hours and 59 minutes, which is the third Guinness World Record for Iran in this area.
