Iranians Crowned as World Bodybuilding Champions by IFBB
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related news/events, Kodoom.com: Iranian men's team won the overall title in final medal standings at the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) World Bodybuilding Championships held last week in Benidorm, Spain. Mohsen Samadi sealed Iran’s place atop the final medal standings with a score of nine points, beating Oman’s Haitham Al Zadjali by a margin of one, to move Iran ahead of overnight leaders South Korea. The Spanish team ranked third in overall team standing after Iran and South Korea.
85 countries participated in the Championships this year and 55 of them entered the best teams classification. Iran only participated in men's competitions.
