Iranian Female Athlete Wins Gold, Undefeated, in World Taekwondo Junior Championship
Independent Source of Persian News/Events, Kodoom.com - World Taekwondo Junior Championships, Burnaby, Canada: Mobina Nejad, Iranian Female Athlete in 42 Kg weight, has won an unprecedented Gold medal, without losing a single point, after straight victories over rivals from Mexico, The Philippines, Korea, Spain and Russia.
In 46 Kg weight group, Setareh Chaboki, forfeited a medal following Iran's official policy to refuse facing Israeli athletes in protest of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian land.
In Men's competitions, Iranians have won a silver and a bronze so far.
