Iranian investor bids for Olympique de Marseille

Independent Persian News Search Engine, Kodoom.com: An Iranian investor is reportedly prepared to spend €100 million to acquire the well known but financially struggling French football club, Olympique de Marseille (OM). Last February the Recon Holding led by Chinese businessman Tony Jiantong Xia walked away from investing n the Club.
In February, Iranian-born British billionaire Farhad Moshiri, spent £175 million to acquire 49.9% of Everton, one of the traditional institutes of English football.
