Iranian women excel in World Chess Olympiad 2010 (Video)
The Iranian Women's Chess team had a stellar performance in the 39th World Chess Olympiad in Khanty Mansiysk Russia. After 11 rounds, the Iranian team ranked 19th among 115 of world's best and brightest chess teams, ahead of powerful teams from countries like England, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, ... The Iranian team consisted of Atousa Pourkashiyan, Shadi Paridar, Mitra Hejazipour, Shayesteh Ghaderpour, , Ghazal Hakimifard.
The Iranian Men's team also displayed an impressive performance in the competitive Olympiad and ranked 29th among 149 of world's best chess teams.
