Namazi, Still bitter about rejection by Iran, Excels as Head Coach of US U-18 soccer team
Independent aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Omid Namazi, the Iranian American head coach of The United States U-18 Men's National Soccer team, has recently lashed out at his former supervisor, Carlos Queiroz, head Coach of Iran's National team by calling him "an opportunistic coward" for "hypocritically" pushing Namazi and other Iranian nationals out of coaching positions with Iranian national team.
Despite his problems in Iran, Namazi has excelled in leading The United States U-18 Men's National Soccer team to new highs. In a recent interview with American Soccer Now, Namazi discusses how he has transformed the U.S. U-18 team into a world class team.
